Same situation as Commons:Deletion requests/File:Roti Island Snaked-Neck Turtle, Rotterdam.jpg. While the machine-readable license on Flickr is indeed {{cc-by-2.0}}, the real license is {{cc-by-nc-sa-2.0}} (which is non-free), as clearly shown by the written description and the original at https://www.flickr.com/photos/fsamuels/6502349227. Failing to retain the {{noncommercial}} restriction (which is a problem for us) and the share-alike restriction (which isn't) in the machine-readable licensing selection is obviously a mistake by the person reposting the file on behalf of the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service. I've just sent Mr. Samuels a note at Flickr, explaining the mistake and asking him to relicense his nice photo so that we can keep using it. I hope he agrees. In the meanwhile, please hold off deleting it. I'll relicense it if he agrees to change it. Thanks, Pete Tillman (talk) 01:41, 4 January 2017 (UTC), OP[reply]
Photographer Samuels has kindly changed the photo license to CC-A-SA. Could you please remove the deletion request, and certify the new license if you think that's necessary. Thanks, Pete Tillman (talk) 14:31, 4 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you (and Mr Samuels) very much! I've tagged it for license review, which should hopefully have the nice side-effect of triggering the review bot to upload the full resolution from the original (USFW also managed to downscale the photo when reposting it).  Kept, withdrawn. LX (talk, contribs) 15:28, 4 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]
