There are three reasons this image should be deleted. It is against New Mexico Historic Site Policy to photograph this work of art. This also violates the wishes of the Native American cultural stakeholders who wish for this work of art not to be reproduced. It is NOT public domain. These images were painted in 1938, so this has not entered the public domain, because it is NOT 100 years plus the life of the artist. 75.173.113.72 04:41, 9 February 2017 (UTC)
- Strong KEEP
- 1) These are restorations of 15th-16th c. Art, and so PD by Wikipedia PD:ART/PD:OLD policy.
- 2) Re: tribal objections. Clearly, NM State Parks disagrees with you. And you are flat wrong about photo restrictions there. --Pete Tillman (talk) 13:10, 10 February 2017 (UTC)
Kept: The only one of the restrictions alleged above that we might actually honor is copyright. I suggest you learn about the complexities of US copyright. There is not now and never has been any 100 year rule. The applicable law requires notice; there is none, so that even if the 1938 restoration might have had a copyright, it never did. . Jim . . . .
